"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them".
Happy 2011 to everyone. I know it can be hard to ignore all the bad news you hear on the radio, see on television, read in the media, or hear from the people around you. Fish and birds dying by the hundreds of thousands, senseless violence, war, lawsuits, the list goes on and on. This can make you angry, fearful, helpless, and hopeless. Or maybe you have moved past any emotions, and have become closed off and numb, as a means to protect yourself.
I cannot stress enough just how important it is to ALWAYS remember that for every negative there is a positive. Positives and negatives can also be referred to as polarities. Polarities are the balance that makes the world just as it is. Everything in our reality has it‘s equal opposite or counterpart, good and bad, yin and yang, sun and moon, man and woman, up and down. Even our emotions have their polarities, like hate and love, worry and hope.
If you allow yourself to get too wrapped up and focused on the negative aspects of life, fear will diminish your faith. This can make you paranoid and out of balance, making you distrustful of everyone and everything, turning a friend into an enemy and a good situation into a bad. As you push everyone and everything out of your life, you separate yourself, which causes you to be self absorbed and irritable. This pessimistic lifestyle perpetuates a snowball of negativity forth, giving power to the one thing that you can’t stand, and sending it right back to you.
So instead of perpetuating the problem, why not become a part of the solution? You may not be able to change the world right away, but you certainly can do your part to refrain from making it worse. If you decide to focus your attention on the positive aspects of your life, and do good things, you will notice your own reality beginning to change for the better as you attract more positivity to you. The first step in making this change within yourself is to decide to be awake, to watch and listen to yourself closely and to simply be aware of your contribution in any given situation. Get to know yourself. As transformation begins you will see yourself in a whole new light.
According Dr. Stein, Chiropractor of Stein Chiropractic Center, and teacher of Zone healing which was founded by Dr. Fleet, “As one lives in harmony with natural law the healing process is accelerated“. Natural law states that if you want perfect health, you must achieve a balance of the mind, body, and spirit. This balance is referred to as, “On the beam” or imbalance as “Off the beam“, examples below;
Off the beam On the beam
* Dr. Stein says “It is good to aim at being on the beam at least 51% of the time”.
There are 10 rules to try to live by, the more you practice these rules the easier it becomes to apply them to your life. They are;
1. Find no fault
2. Look for the good/do good
3. Never criticize nor condemn
4. Enslave no one
5. Speak not of yourself
6. Be truthful
7. Have compassion
8. Eliminate the negative
It’s entirely up to you to decide if you’d like to be part of the problem or part of the solution. You are the center of the universe so choose wisely, remember you ARE what you attract!
